Shooting For A Cause: Pick the Cause

I can't just let this die, so I'm going to take the initiative and post a poll to help decide what charity the proceeds from our proposed Shooting For A Cause: Focus on Children photo book would go to. For more information on the efforts to make this photo book, see this post: »[Help] Can it be done a BBR DI first? Photobook for a cause?

Let's do it this way, instead of requiring people to pick one charity, pick a few of the ones you like the best. After a week, I'll post a second poll with the top 5 charities and we'll vote on a winner. (Mods, if you'd like to pin this for a week, that would be fine with me. )

On with the poll!

Multiple Choice Poll
What charity should the proceeds from our Shooting For A Cause photo book go to?

Believe In Tomorrow National Children's Foundation

Big Brothers Big Sisters of America

Childreach / Plan USA

Children International

Children's Defense Fund

Children's Organ Transplant Association

Children Incorporated

Christian Children's Fund

Easter Seals Inc.

Girls Incorporated

Give Kids the World

Help the Afghan Children

Make-A-Wish Foundation of America (National Office)

March of Dimes Birth Defects Foundation

By the way, here are some links with information on each charity:

Believe In Tomorrow National Children's Foundation
Big Brothers Big Sisters of America
Childreach / Plan USA
Children International
Children's Defense Fund
Children's Organ Transplant Association
Children, Incorporated
Christian Children's Fund
Easter Seals, Inc.
Girls Incorporated
Give Kids the World
Help the Afghan Children
Make-A-Wish Foundation of America (National Office)
March of Dimes Birth Defects Foundation
Marine Toys for Tots Foundation
National Center for Family Literacy
National Center for Missing and Exploited Children
National Childhood Cancer Foundation
National Children's Cancer Society
Ronald McDonald House Charities
Save the Children Federation
Scholarship America

Oh, and in case anyone was wondering about the two "edited out" options. One was a misplaced comma that turned one charity into two choices. Another was a charity that I realized after posting had nothing to do with children (at least not directly).

By the way, thank you for picking this up. I've been far too busy and I'm thinking Wayne has been too! (I hope people are out taking pictures for this. )

Glad you got this going. I was thinking about starting it, but didn't have the time.

I vote for National Center for Family Literacy, since the majority of kids these days are illiterate j********.

I've posted the second part of the poll here: »Shooting For a Cause: Pick The Photo Book Cause Part 2

Further votes here won't be counted. (Mods, feel free to lock this.)
