Yes, the support person at Verizon said he was actually able to see the router and even got its MAC address or whatever info he needed from it. At that point he did switch the binding. He also told me at that point, the green Internet connect light should NOT be on in the modem (is this correct?) But for some reason, I still had no internet access. The router was unable to connect to get net access. And the PC was still dead in the water, getting an IP from the router, but no internet. I tried it both with its own MAC address as well as cloning the Westell's to it.
Anything else I might have been doing wrong? |
