Well after closely reading on the internet and I decied to overclock the CPU. Running stable 2.2 @ 2.8 ghz, 133 FSB, and 44-45c temps.
After doing this system is running awesome. No lagg what so ever.

I think that is the way to go,you may be satisfied,an upgrade to a p4 will give your rig another boost but more difficult/risky to perform. |

Well I did that and sure enough it ran like a charm. As soon as I enabled it again my sound was crackeling, and stuttering sound as well as game play.

you could always try disabling the onboard sound on the motherboard ,then try your game,if it is the sound you should have no problem with the game |
