Help me configure my PAP2 v2.0 for Asterisk
Does anyone know how to configure a PAP2 v2.0 for Asterisk? I want to use it to provide two extensions inside my home LAN.
I have unlocked my PAP2 v2.0 and configured both lines for Asterisk by entering the following for Line 1:
Caller ID Number: 201
User Name: 201
Password: secret
Proxy Server: 192.168.1.200
Registrar Address 192.168.1.200
Same for Line 2, except replacing 201 with 202.
I left all other fields with their default values. I also configured matching extensions 201 and 202 in my Asterisk server(TrixBox.)
When I first set this up, the PAP2 v2 registered with the Asterisk server and all the lights went green, but every time I power-cycle the PAP2, I get a blinking power light and a mostly-on network light. In order to get all the lights green again I have to make a random change in any of the SIP, Line 1 or Line 2 tabs and Save Settings.
It looks to me like there is something wrong with the Registration configuration, but there are not a lot of registration parameters to tweak with. Any ideas? |
