I've been on my computer intermittently all day, and it seems to be resolved. Enjoy youyr connection; if you have a prob, call the local number.

Ok...I am new at this. What is the problem, high pings? I am in Charleston, and am supposed to be getting my service Thursday.

Please see this thread: »How do you report a bad router?

Synopsis: I called AT&T. The ATT guy thought I was from Comcast and told me that the pipe was at 85%. I then called Comcast and had it verified that this problem has been escalated to the highest level and that the national techs were looking into it.

I just called AT&T and they said though the IP was their's it's maintained by Comcast and for AT&T to do anything about the problems it has to hear it from Comcast.

I then called Comcast and they're demanding to send a tech to my house before they'll do anything so I'm gonna call the local office in the AM and try to talk to them. Everyone having the problem, if you can, call Comcast and let them know.

The WHOIS for that IP says it's AT&T's. Here's some info.

OrgTechHandle: ICC-ARIN
OrgTechName: IP Customer Care
OrgTechPhone: +1-888-613-6330
OrgTechEmail: qhoang@att.com

I guess I'll call them tomorrow and see what they can do.

your not the only one. Ive been having the same problems along with 5 or so other people that ive talked too. Its everyone in the area. Ive talked to comcast and they said they cant do anything because the hop is past there control. What do you do when this happens? I've had it since monday night. The Tech comes out and sees nothing wrong.

[Connectivity] Comcast Southeast (Charleston SC) - Latency incre

The past week I've noticed that my latency was WAAAAY off of what it has been. I called Comcast and the tech said, yeah I've had three or four calls recently about that, but it looks like it's an AT&T problem, so I don't know what we can do about it.

Here's my tracert; notice the problem at 12.118.120.21, which is an AT&T server - the tech said this server was indicated in the other problems... what do y'all think.
