Losing the status I would think could be a good thing for Qwest, more regulation for Cox and less for them.
I think they still have it in Omaha only because Cox, Alltel and McCloud have each taken a slice of the pie however none hold as much as Qwest alone.
IIRC it's something like
Qwest 40%
Cox 35%
Alltel 15%
Mccloud 10%
