I see one vote dated today 2AM for Mac, can't find any comments, the program seems to work as a version I tried awhile ago though not proficient in it. Am I missing something? Not work as well with Mac?

PC version does not have the same corruption issue as the Mac version. I am using it now. Although, it does require registration.

ive made some cool stuff in bryce years ago. here is one such shot i made for someone who liked lighthouses

the lighthouse is made from separate shapes and grafted together. it took a while to get right but its accurate from any angle! =)

Does this mean "after the 6th you can no longer download it but it will continue working for those who do get it by the 6th"? Or does it mean "the downloaded software will stop working on the 6th"? I did not see any explanation about this on either the download page or the Daz site.

Those who have installed: Does the registration have to be done from within the program itself or can you register on a web page without having to let Bryce itself make an internet connection?

Is this crippled in some way from the normal "pay" version.

its the 'free version' so my guess is it is missing a bunch of textures and whatnot, but i havent played with it since bryce 3
