Re: [Free] Bryce 5 for free

No problem. It's an honest mistake that I've even made myself.

If it's maximized (which was on my computer) put your mouse all the way to the top left corner, when done, file/edit etc. will show up, from there can quit the program. Thanks FB,haven't tried that button yet!

Click for full size
Try this button to maximize/minimize (it doesn't start maximized on my computer.) The normal file/edit etc. buttons will appear if you hover over the top of the screen, they are not quick to appear however. Hope this helps.

First report... Got it now, finished jumping through the hoops.

Some issues, biggest one is that it opens full screen, and I can't pop up my bottom toolbar... alt-tab or windows key.
Started the process and it was taking me to the website, only I have active scripts set to prompt, and the prompt was behind the Program.
Alt-tab, got to the website, got logged in, got the registration number, and when I brought the program back to the foreground, the info entry box was not visible, and no chimping could dig it up.

Also found no way to close the program outside of Ctrl-alt-del, and end process in the task manager.
Did that, re-started the program and now I could access the registration entry window, and got it registered.
Then was taken to CNet for another 23MG download of pre-sets.
No idea of what to do with them yet, unzipped it in the folder is as far as I've gotten.
Got to figure out how to have the program open in a window so I can get to the system toolbar for one.
Got to figure out how to close the program without having to use windows task manager.
Haven't seen info there on how to basically start anything, tutorials on line look like how to do specific things, not a "so you have never seen anything like this before" kind of tutorial.

Can't argue with free, but the hook is here (and screenshot)

Tahoejeff, could you post those links, please? Apparently there is no manual for this free version. Does anyone know where to get a decent manual for this program? Thanks!

i read somewhere that the ui is not standard, so you will likely need to study some tutorials. i've saved the tutorial links, and will study them on a rainy day. this program is definitely hard to figure out for a first time user. looking at the results people have posted, it does intrigue me and looks like a lot of fun, but who designed the ui? YUK!
don't get me wrong, the price is right, and i will enjoy playing with it some day.
