[Sprint] Picture mail message charge if no special plan?

Trying to find out for a friend how much does it cost to send and to receive if you don't have a picture mail add on.

I think the only way is to pay $5/month for unlimited picture mail

1 cent per kbyte. So, example, with my phone and it's 1.3megapixel camera (Samsung A-900), the pictures are roughly 250kb, so that means to send 1 picture would cost me $2.50

If you have Power Vision ($15/$20/$25) it is included in all of the packages, since MMS is just a data connection to a sprint server. The more expensive PV packages inclde TV channels.

If you don't have a PV plan it is an extra $5.

With google, XM/Sirius radio, skype, and all sorts of other services available and designed for phone sized browsers PV is an excellent deal. Sprint also includes unlimited use of IM (MSN, AOL, ICQ) in the PV package. (most other services use text messaging). It's an excellent deal, especially considering the high speeds and relatively low latency.

I find myself using the PV services far more than voice.
