|  aboutblank spyware and stopzilla software?
Hi all,
I confess I would normally research all of this myself, but due to personal reasons I've not had the chance so I'm asking for any advice some of you already may know about this "aboutblank" and StopZilla software please.
I was asked by a friend who tells me she got infected by "aboutblank" and has installed a 15-day trial of StopZilla which has quarantined it enabling her to use Internet Explorer again - she tells me once the trial ends that stopzilla will apparently just make "aboutblank" active again unless she buys the software???
Haven't got a clue how true any of this is but I'm sure plenty of people on these wonderful forums have come across what she's talking about and can offer some advice please.

Many thanks John, I'll give that a go on their machine for them soon as I get a chance.
I presume that StopZilla is rubbish and needs uninstalling too  |

I presume that StopZilla is rubbish and needs uninstalling too
