Shooting For a Cause: Pick The Photo Book Cause Part 2

Ok, as promised we went a week of choosing worthy causes to narrow it down to the top 5. Of course, there was a 3 way tie, so here are the top 7. This time you just get to choose one. Choose your favorite charity and we'll dedicate the photo book to that cause. The links point to pages with more information on the charities.

Poll
What charity should the proceeds from our Shooting For A Cause photo book go to?

Big Brothers Big Sisters of America

Children's Organ Transplant Association

Make-A-Wish Foundation of America (National Office)

March of Dimes Birth Defects Foundation

Marine Toys for Tots Foundation

National Center for Missing and Exploited Children

Ronald McDonald House Charities

I was a "Big Brother" for a number of years to one little girl who grew up with junkies for parents and older siblings. She is now about a year away from achieving her MBA. I tend to stay away from charities that have anything to do with medical research, medicine, etc. as I firmly believe they are all corrupted at the higher levels.

I forgot to mention that I'll run this poll for a week and then post the winning charity. So you have a week to vote.

I am not a fan of "Toys for Tots"...
I will have to do some research to back this up ..but..

I believe they sell the toys and use the money for the kids(which is good and all)

....but the toys dont actually go to the kids,I have heard.

I would be happy to be rebutted on this though

I may have rebutted myself...

I have participated in the give-away for Toys for Tots in December. It will forever remain a part of me. It's amazing how happy most of the kids were. There were some disrespectful, uncaring parents and kids some of which said, "That's it?" Overall it was good though and most people were very happy!

After all that, I voted for the National Center for Missing or Exploited Children. I guess it was the recent story about a girl that was kidnapped for 8 years. She escaped her capturer, thankfully, but it took 8 years!

Yes...the items do go to the children. I was the recipient of toys from Toys for Tots many years ago when I had small ones and no money. They saved my Christmas!

Well, another week has passed and it looks like we have our charity. With 51.8% of the votes, Make-A-Wish Foundation of America (National Office) wins the poll. Mods, feel free to lock this thread as we will continue discussions over at »[Help] Can it be done a BBR DI first? Photobook for a cause?
