If you know where to get some SR9 cards, you will have a complete unit.

You mean, An Amplifier?.. no it does not. 10 watts EIRP is enough as it is, maybe over.
Trees ABSORB RF. There's no if's or but's about it. 900Mhz works better because it is less susceptible to trees. Plus 5.8 is used by many many cordless phones.
