Re: Decent BF2 Servers

The HAF server is usually really good. I like going in with 3-4 of my community guys and get some decent squad action going.

Might be mistaken but you guys use the HAFr tag for your recruits right? If I recall about 30 minutes ago I knifed one of the recruits 3 times on Jalalabad. He wasn't very happy to be firing at me be jumped over and knifed in the back. He wasn't a bad player in the least, I just specialize in the knives.

War is Hell, there are some decient squads on the servers, they pretty much live there.

Ninjaserve is good for pilots and there are a couple clans that play there often too.
Have to agree with Bonez here. Warishell is good for squad work.

Better in the evenings...... ie: after 6pm CST

Just search for warishell in the game browser. Or the website is warishellgaming.com they have links on the front page.

Thanks for the replies guys, I've added all the servers you all have suggested to Qtracker. I joined War is Hell this morning and I immediately noticed the difference. I didn't stay for long because I just woke up and was just snooping around, but I can tell that's exactly what I was looking for.

Thanks for the playing tips also Nightfall See Profile, I always try and play in squads, but most of them on pubs are just full of free-for-all types anyway, which is why I wanted some decent servers as their squads definitely won't be of the free-for-all type.

I have a friend who was in the same boat you were. He has really gotten better by doing the same thing every game.

Find a squad with 3 or more guys. Warp in on squad leader everytime. Play as a squad.

Sure, at times he will find crappy squads to play on. The other half of the time he will find good squad members and play pretty well. After you get practice, then make a squad of your own.

Thats my suggestion.

I play on ECGN servers. They have servers on both coasts. Server #1 is in VA I think and there is a city only map on the east coast. They have a servers in San Jose as well. There are a lot of regulars and plenty of team work.

Does anyone know of any that they can post here?

I suck really bad at BF2, but I want to find a decent server where it'll help teach me the basics of BF2. Just going into pubs all I see is people going free-for-all and no team work.

I'm getting bored because I'm playing CS: S to much so I need another game to go along with CS: S. Since I already have BF2 and BF2: SF, I might as well try learning how to play those two :P.

So any decent servers will be appreciated .
