500MB is sufficient, but 10MB definitely is not... 10MB can be filled very quickly with pictures.
I would go with something like Gmail or a host instead of a providers email anyway, not for the extra space, but to ensure you will be able to keep that email address for a very long time.. Down the road when other providers and fiber optic hits your block, you are not going to want to stay on your cable or DSL... you will ultimately lose your email address. It's highly doubtful anything will happen to Gmail in the next 2-3 years, but it is very likely you won't still be on Cable/DSL, or that your cable provider will be bought out/change it's name. |

| reply to Vamp What's funny is I still have my SBC DSL email address, months after cancelling service. Probably has to do with it being hosted by yahoo. It's probably too integrated into their system to just remove the address, since it's tied in with fantasy football and other features, and if you removed it, it would cause problems with stuff like that. |
