Does Nis 2007 has Detailed View Statistics Window?

j2 join:2006-04-16 90271	Does Nis 2007 has Detailed View Statistics Window? Hi All Norton internet Security 2003 has had before "Detailed View Statistics" window(option) but 04,05, and 06 version dont have it!? why? i dont know lol but i miss it and i think that every firewall should have it its important i liked to see the current connections! tcp,udp,icmp connections + incoming-outgoing packets! in my opinion this is a must have it! can someone post some info about Nis07 firewall log details,please thanks

siliconman01 Premium join:2005-05-08 Saint Albans, WV	I did not see the statistics log back when I temporarily ran the NIS 2007 public beta. I doubt if it returns in NIS 2007.

Symantec has removed all functionality that is not security related. We wanted less bloat, we got it. Less than 10MB »NIS 2007 Beta - First look. I like what I see

The only statistics I'm interested in are the Firewall Rules stats (name of each rule in one list and number of times each rule is matched or passed.) They have not removed this functionality to reduce bloat...it is their cheap way of fixing bugs (remove vs. rewrite). No other software can replace this removed functionality. Similarly the import/export settings was removed in earlier version rather than fix the bugs with it. The buggy network detector/zones stuff is next on their list of "remove rather than fix". Now if they could only remove the buggy Symantec Integrator...but then there would be nothing left. j2: these statistics were available in the NIS/NPF 2004 and 2005 I have tried.
