| How come I can't access this site?
I'm trying to access this: »www.npmoc.navy.mil/jtwc/warnings···6web.txt
I can't access it on my computers, however if I ssh into my cousins computer (who has cablevision) and try to get there from his computer I can, so the site must be running. Why can't I access the site on my DSL connection, but I can get to it from his internet connection?

What's a traceroute www.npmoc.navy.mil show? ("SSH" is the clue you may be running *nix  ) I get as far as 18 hops to:
66-162-246-34.static.twtelecom.net (66.162.246.34)
...so the real site may not be responding for tracing. Yet I get to it ok.
Also, make sure some form of content filtering isn't the problem - try the main site, »www.npmoc.navy.mil/ It's also working here. |

1 edit | Since you're getting very close to the site, it can't be routing on our end of this. There must be something close to the site filtering your IP - this is not uncommon for *.MIL sites (they think your address may be overseas).
To compare apples and apples, here's my regular (UDP) traceroute starting at YOUR hop 17 (MY hop 19):
