RM question - losing maps

Okay this is annoying. I've been using RM for about a year now without issue and now I'm having trouble recalling the maps I used in previous sessions. I create the map, use the overlays, etc as before and do plots and so on. Fine so far. I save the network setting, the map and the bmp file and associate them.

before I would start RM and I could pick the net and map and image and do more plots. Now I am constantly getting "No 2D image exists, do you want to draw one?" I can't keep doing this all the time, especially when it worked so well before.

So what the heck did I do to deserve this behavior from this wonderful program?????!!! I have the updates installed to the latest 7.5.6 version and it works great if I re-draw the image. I just can't seem to get into sync with ANY of the previous images or maps I created and there are a few dozen of them that seem to be wasted.

Thanks!

I figured this out. Why I wasn't doing it right after using this prog from so long, who knows. I was getting a net file and a .map file when I did all the other saves the past few weeks. Tonight I got all three when I did a save network, .net, .map and .bmp and I checked all of them and now when I reopen RM or call up that .net file, the proper map and image appear again. Over the past several dyas I was doing the net save after working on several different maps and scenes in each session but I was not asked to save all 3 formats, I don't know why, only the .net and .bmp files were displayed on the save sceen. Tonight I did the .net save before I did any propagation and right after I created the maps. At least it's working again. I guess it's best to create the map with the overlays and then save the .net, .map and .bmp files right off the bat. At least that's how I'll do it from now on unless I hear otherwise.
