SETI has been around in one form or another for a long time using "unused" cycles and you NEVER hear ANYTHING from them about progress of ANY kind.

And, I've never heard of "RC 5", but I'm sure it is basically the same kind of setup.

Once again, you only have their word that the app on your computer is doing what they say it is. As far as I'm concerned, the apparent total lack of progress in SETI is telling in and of itself. Let them buy their own computers.
