 | Outage in Colorado Springs (Trojan?) Our service was out yesterday when I arrived home and is still out today. I called tech support this morning to have them tell me this, "Sorry sir there is a major outage in Colorado Springs, a Trojan has infected all PCs on our network. We are working on a fix and do not have a time frame for the fix."
Sounds a little fishy to me, I am not sure how a trojan/virus could infect every machine on their network. The CSR also mentioned that the same "virus" hit Boca Raton today.
Can anyone confirm this? |

 | I confirm that, that is an outright lie and that it never happened. Is that good enough? |

 | We are in 80922 |
|
 | your connection issue has nothing to do with some bogus trojan that that is on network computers. |
|
 | reply to brianblank There was an issue with Freedom yesterday that I believe the technician was talking about. However, this should have no affect getting your modem online. |
|
 | Back home and after a power cycle on the modem everything is back to normal. |

1 edit | Still out for the most part in 80917. It comes back up for 15 minutes and goes back down. Recieved terrible service from 2 CSRs when we first called (after a 45 min wait on hold). |

I don't think that's the case in the least. -- No animals were harmed in the transmission of this post, but the pitbull living next door is living on borrowed time i tell you! |
