..why?

How about disabling the "no security" feature and where you must choose either WEP or some other form of encryption like WPA/WPA2 etc.

A sticker does not do jack shit unless you read it.

Provided it's written in YOUR language. SP,FR,ENG......

If the manufacturer were to design the installation software so it would pre-set all the functions in your PC and all you need to do is find the "Enter Key" it might help.
When it was finished it would say-"HERE'S YOUR SIGN".

We who frequent this and other tech type forums know what's up, but have you any idea how many PC owners have NO CLUE as to how their PC works.

There are people who own and use Hughes Satellite Dish Internet and have no clue as to what satellite or transponder they are on, nor any other pertenent info about their system.

The average PC owner knows what to click to IM or email and how to get to EBay and the home Shopping Network. THATS IT.

This technology is way above the average users head. YES,WAY.

If you give an idiot a choice, what's he/she going to do.
DAAAAAAAAH.

They can stick the stickers AND their pickers.

Why don't they put the instructions in BRAIL for the blind too?

YOU HAVE BRAILLE. ENTER YOUR YAHOO LOGIN TO READ YOUR BRAILLE.
ONLY APPLICABLE TO TOUCH SCREEN TERMINALS LOADED WITH BRAILLE SOFTWARE.

Linksys and Belkin have had those setup CD's for a while which enabled security during the install. It just goes to show how pointless it is to teach a moronic son of a bitch how to setup something when he is not even willing to learn.

I guess I now know how much my teachers hated me when I would sleep in class.
