| reply to newton53 Re: [Equipment] Hook Flash
There is a setting with the spa2002 that can change the hook flash parameters, but before you do that to determine whether or not this setting is at fault press the hook flash down (ie the hangup button or the flash button on your phone) for an extended period of time, rather than a quick press. If it works then the hook flash setting on your spa can be shortened...but we'll get into that if this works. |

Thanks,

| Before you go tinkering around with the settings please confirm whether holding it down for a while longer made any difference.
If you do want to take a look at this, then you must be logged in under advanced and the settings are: Hook Flash Timer Min: Hook Flash Timer Max
Which are located under the "regional" tab. |

| reply to redshift I have done several experiments and no luck. Since I am behind a SPA9000 and have to dial 9 for "an outside line". Each time I attempt a flash, I get the second dialtone as if I had dialed a 9. I have not messed with the default settings as it appears that those should work fine. Seems like there is something else to do with they way I have things set up.
