ANNOUNCEMENTS
08-30-2006: McAfee has responded to our requests for them to fix the false positive on SpyCop: "We are unable to reproduce any detection of the SpyCop files using the current DAT. If you are using an Engine older than what is current, we strongly recommend that you upgrade it, in a lot of cases, an old engine will not identify and remove certain viruses (even with a current set of DAT files). So, as well as DAT files, engines need to be updated to include regular changes and improvements made to the scanner." |
