4.2.2.1 / 4.2.2.4 DNS problems?

Anyone else having troubles with the 4.2.2.1 and 4.2.2.4 DNS servers today? I had to switch back to the Verizon-supplied servers.

Thought things seemed a little sluggish, but nothing that prompted a change. Could have just been me.

I had a bunch of sites, including DSLR, that were totally unreachable. 4.2.2.1/4..2.2.4 responded to pings, but would not resolve most addresses.

Using the Verizon defaults now:
Primary DNS: 71.250.0.12
Secondary DNS: 151.202.0.85

I was having the same issues, and I'm using Optonline - with the 4.2.2.* DNS servers hard coded into my router. My symptoms were that it seemed I could only surf to Google - anything else and my browsing stalled.
I left the 4.2.2.* servers in there, but I added a tertiary and 4th entry which are default Optonline servers. I figure that just about ANYONE can manage to run a server (or business) better than Cablevision.
