Yes, Silent Hill would be great. If you get into point-&-click adventure games. There are quite a few, mystery/horror types.

System Shock 2 is a fantastic game even after all these years, creepy as hell. I'll never stop recommending this one.
The Silent Hill series is my favorite among psychological horror games; Resident Evil does not hold a candle to these for pure mindf*** factor.
For a traditional horror type of game, the budget title Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth is actually pretty good.

Yeah, Call of Cthulhu was a pretty good game. Good story. Pretty creepy at parts.
And.....of course, System Shock 2. Pretty much anyone that has played it is going to recommend it until the end of time. Dated graphics, but awesome game. |

Yes silent hill for the PC is a good choice....I am currently loving the cheap Resident Evil's on the Gamecube but u can get budget copies of Resident Evil for the PC cheap....
