I love PhotoShop, and it's worth the money to me to keep my license current. But that doesn't mean you have to spend a fortune, or even a penny, for graphics software. This includes plug-ins for PhotoShop and Paint Shop Pro, 3D Modelers, painting programs, and much much more.

Here is a link to CNET.com where they have some photo editing software. Some of it is free, some is shareware. You might find some really good stuff if you look.

»www.gimp.org is the official site for the GNU Image Manipulation Program.
The GIMP is very similar to PSP or PhotoShop. It's primarily a Linux thing, but a Windows version also exists.
Best of all, it's TOTALLY free.
