@comcast.net | Verizon what? I still cant get Verizon DSL in the suburbs of Los angeles County. This News article is a LOAD! The Newsdesk needs to put down the Verizon Propaganda hotline now and then.

| Re: Verizon what? ..So How does registering deem credibility? After all,You're registerd and no one takes you seriously
It just ergs me to see the Verizon repair trucks plasterd with "Get DSL" adverts, when fewer than 10% of the cities lines are capable od a DSL signal. The cable companies going to dominate my area for the next century!
...Heh,And after the adelphia/Comcast merger/ acquisition,Verizon's going to look even dumber with it's 2% market share! Verizon just isn't even a contender in the largest state in the union!
It's going to be funny when the day traders start scrambling!

| Re: Verizon what? Hi. Just a few quick shots from another unregistered.
1. Verizon added 440,000 new high-speed internet users in Q2/06, including 110,00 FIOS users, so 330,000 'regular' high-speed. Source: Verizon.
2. with the exception of Qwest, the incumbent telcos typically offer DSL service to 75% of their service area. (So surprised to hear it's not in HHeights).
