| Re: secure page but not basic - possible DNS problem This is, indeed, strange. Can you ping google.com? What about using Google's IP address (72.14.207.99)? Can you open Google.com by typing their IP address into IE rather than the domain name?
Have you checked your MTU settings to make sure they're appropriate for your connection type (should be 1500 for most connections, or 1492 if using ADSL with PPPoE).
Is Internet Explorer configured correctly to connect through your LAN? Is your default gateway set correctly? The default gateway on your computers should be the LAN IP address of your router, the default gateway on the router should be provided by your ISP via DHCP or PPPoE).
Do you, by any chance, have access restrictions enabled on your router?
