If the world is fine with the disgusting pixelized quality Directv offers, there will be more than happy with this, I would bet that cat in your icon that people would actually think the quality is better.

Remember this is H.264 we are talking about not some Sorenson Video 3.

As long as the other PC is authorized you should be okay.
I really doubt they are going to keep a record of everything you download tho. They would be like you have it thats your problem.
