I hope my comment(s) weren't taken in any way other than intended. I did get exactly the answer I had anticipated, because I felt I was out of luck as far as doing anything to stop the spam.
My client is Eudora 6.2, but I know nothing about what's on the server, nor do I know about filters.

| As you have been told, you can consider some filtering software before giving up. There are some free ones that you can try.
Me too receive several hundreds of spam each day, and I've been using Mailwasher free version for years (until I started to use the commercial version this summer) with good results. You can download the free version here:

(as I have said, there are other similar products, but this is the one that I have used and know. I suggest that you check others too until you find the one that fit your needs)
