Had Dry line data only for about 4.5 years. Verizon would disconnect at least once every 3 months and it took from 1 day to 14 days to restore service. I switched to a line share and for almost 1 year have not had a single disconnect. I have been told by a Verizon tech that the average lineman doesn't have tools to identify a dry ADSL circuit. I believe that accidents happen. When I had the dry circuit service a Verizon truck in the neighborhood usually accompanied the lose of service. Performance has been indistinguishable after installing a splitter at the side of the house. |
