I think its a bad idea.

Like someone else already said, car makers have been cleaning up their act.

Also, if this lawsuit goes through, guess who ends up paying...you got it! US!

This would mean higher prices for autos...

Edit...Forgot to mention more layoffs for the already struggling american carmakers.
