Why do I see double posts?

»/forum/news,78···ays=9999

I see two pages of replies but the second page contains double posts from the first page why?

Also, why is the background blue? The background is white everywhere else on the site. That blue is distracting. Can I change it to white background?

I am seeing this on Fx 2.0 beta2 but I doubt Fx 1.5.0.7 will be any different.

Here's what I am talking about. It is the second page that has the blue background. I'm now on Fx 1.5.0.7.

DSLR hiccup. From my experience, hitting the post button twice quickly sometimes causes double-posts.

I saw the double posts when I was reading the thread long before I posted. I then saw my post on page one and again on page 2. So, it couldn't have been a problem with hitting the post button too quickly.

If it is a hiccup it is a VERY STRANGE one. I see now that default in both Fx and IE (so I assume it is site default now, whereas, it used not to be) is TEXT view. If I switch to Flat, which is how I have always viewed the forums here, I don't see double posts.

On both Fx and IE:

Flat view : 95 posts and no double posts (says 4 pages but actually just 2 pages)
Text view: 71 posts (all on the first page) and 10 repeated posts on the second page.

Why so many more posts in flat view?

I don't see a different color background, but in flat view there are many posts repeated.

In text view now I see 61 posts.
