It was due to the strike by CWA in 2004 and one of the concessions we demanded{I walked the Picket Line in Appleton, WI when was a member of CWA Local 4621}. Just as any politician will do, SBC/ATT is just trying to spin it to their advantage...it would not have happened without the UNION fighting for it. |

More than likely the Indian call center reps did such a shitty job that they had no choice. My company outsourced its technical support helpdesk to India. They are totally useless. What most people do is call them just to get a ticket number assigned to the correct group and then call the person who will actually be fixing the problem and explain it to them. You might as well be speaking Chinese when trying to explain to them what needs to be fixed.
