Sharpening Tech?

There was a sharpening technique listed here a few days ago. I can't seem to find it. Could someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks

Is it the one about changing the image mode to LAB, then applying sharpening only to the luminance (L) channel? That is the only sharpening tip I use, consistently.

Tim, here's a way to do that sharpening without quite so much trouble:

1. Sharpen your RGB image.
2. Choose Edit - Fade - Luminosity.

I posted this link on web posting, but there may be some other very good info for you on sharpening. The web one by Marc Adamus is my favorite.

I don't think I've ever even used that Fade -> "something"

I'll have to try that out.

/me is learning again.
