Stick-on Wall Print? How? Where?

The other day at the veterinarian I noticed a big colorful poster ad on the wall. Having a few moments to spare I looked a little closer at it.

It was about 20 x 30 inches, had great contrast, detail, and color, and was stuck on the wall with something along the lines of Post-It glue backing. The image seemed to be printed deeply in the material - or perhaps it had some kind of laminate over it. The surface was not shiny, more like matte, and there didn't appear to be any seperable layers. The thickness of the whole thing was about that of card stock, though it was stiffer. It kind of reminded me a bit of those 3D prints you sometimes see, but it wasn't that complex and it was a bit thinner.

What made it interesting is that I could peel it off the wall with no damage, and stick it back on, probably a whole bunch of times.

I figure this particular poster was probably printed at a corporate print shop, but I was wondering if anyone here knows what kind of print this could be, and whether such a thing can be ordered by mere mortals?

Thanks in advance for any info you might have.

That Epson paper looks like it could well be the basis for the print I saw, B52GUNR. Thanks.

Hi Jason, thanks for the info. The apparent durability and self-adhesive nature of the poster I saw made it attractive as it would differentiate a product from the typical poster.

Yah, I think so, too, probably laminated as well.

Some assembly required, your mileage may vary, no pixels were harmed in the writing of this post. Brain cells, though, are a different matter. You want fries with that?

Probably not the exact same thing, but maybe you could use something like this on a normal poster print?

That's nice.
Now I have to find a 24" wide printer for around 300$
(or take a jigsaw, and cut off 11" from the roll.)
