| Help with new 627w
Hey I just got a new modem from Verizon, a 627W. It seems to have an upgraded firmware because of the new GUI in the modem control panel.. anyway, regardless of what username/password I put in the settings it directs me to the activate.dsl.. well I forget the exact link.. but If I initiate a PPoE session FROm my comp with my username/pass it works just fine... whats wrong? |

is the ip the modem is connecting with a 10.x.x.x ip or somthing else?
try going to 192.168.1.1/verizon/redirect.htm and clicking enable. |

Side note, when redirection is enabled, you can still be pulling a valid ip. The modem itself will just refuse to let you go elsewhere. |
