Sony did the same shit with the PS2 and its memory cards on purpose.
I smell the makings of yet another long series of class-action lawsuits because of purposely faulty units by them.

| When they're completely bypassing the UK market altogether (where they have been strongest with the PS2), it seems a pretty blatant omission, and I'd have to call bullshit on their claiming that they'll have 2M units out on the market.
Even if they do ship out 2M units, I'll be willing to wager that there will be more than 10% of those defunct or otherwise broken. This is Sony we're talking about.

UK sales exceeded expectations for the PS2, however the United States is still the number one buyer. If you ask me all this simultaneous release business is stupid to begin with.

I don't see why you should get all worked up about the initial units anyway because it's obvious from your posts you have a major bias against Sony. You're not gonna buy one. hey i had 2 ps2s that did that too. Of course Sony DID Fix them and they games for me but I was still out the time I didn't have them. |
