| if you guys are complaining about price then just don't buy the PS3? I don't get how you guys can complain that its expensive, remember Xbox 360? When it first launched there was such shortage that most Retailers were selling them at 500$ for premium with no games, then the ebayers who were selling the systems at 1200$ and up. Both versions have a wireless controller, I don't know where you guys getting your info from about not having a wireless controller. Please read the facts before you start bashing on the PS3, both the 20GB and the 60GB version has a wireless controller, but the controllers have a USB port for recharging. |

Selling it for below costs? Even at the full $600USD, it's still going for well below cost. Dropping it down like they did, when the low end version is missing maybe $40 in manufacturing parts, at the most, really would be dumping.
Simple point is, Sony is riding the entire future of the company on the PS3. If it doesn't do well, the company as a whole will go under, which will make both the MPAA and the RIAA fall apart, while creating huge voids in the entertainment industry, yatta yatta yatta.
Basically, they're throwing the dice with Hollywood and hoping for the best. |
