|  [Help Me] DI-604 Router Ouside IP
Hello im on Sympatico HSE with a speedstream 4200 and a DI-604 router the problem is even if I have ports open like 80, 6881, 27960. Tested and everything there open but let say when I goto start my apache server (port 80) I can't access it with my ext ip or dns name its only accessble from "localhost" or my private ip 192.168.0.XXX. Is there somthing im missing that will allow the router to let my ext ip be the link to my server and it just not being LAN. I do have SP2 but I have tried it with it and connection firewalls disable even in DMZ mode too still the application (apache HTTP) is grabbing on the lan ips and not using the ext.

Just retried with just the modem and seems it sticks to the lan ips too. The only way I can get my server to work is if I do my PPPOE connection in Windows XP. Thing is my server used to work just fine with the router in place and port forwarded. Maybe its time to format and put on a clean thing of windows xp. |
