900Mhz suggestions

Could anyone recommend inexpensive 900mhz gear? I can do LOS on the PtP backhauls but the CPE stuff is going to almost always be buried behind trees. Thanks!

Re: 900Mhz suggestions

It depends on what you consider 'inexpensive'.
This is about as cheap as it gets, unless you wanted to make your own, but even then it's close in price.

Strangely enough, that's the one I was reviewing waiting for someone to post. The spec sheet says it could do 63 miles. I'm guessing that's LOS in the desert or something. 15 miles is about the furthest I'll have to shoot on a backhaul. Hopefully I'll be able to have the customers close enough (1/2 mile NearLOS) so that 2.4 might work so that their CPE's would only run me 100 bucks.

Re: 900Mhz suggestions

63 Miles and a prayer.. They simply do not make 900Mhz antennas with that high of gain. Atleast none I've seen.

Expect to get 900Mhz links through 1/4 of trees, maybe half. Any more than that I would not expect it to happen.
More LOS the better..
