I'm sorry, but why should Google pay Comcast, or any other provider for simply having a service free to anybody? It's not Google's fault Comcast can't handle the traffic. |

Exactly, I am also a comcast user. My speeds are always great to any site. But the Fact is that if it was not, its nobodies fault but the ISP. And if it just isnt working something needs to change with the ISP, make more money to build bigger network or invest in bigger network. Why do the ISP think that they can get away with, giving the content providers there unwanted bagage? Do what Are TERMS of Condition said and everything will be fine. They are obviously on top of blocking and throttling the network and all within TOS, now keeping speeds to agreed levels is a different story. ISP's DO YOUR JOB! |

The propaganda has certainly worked based on the boiling stew of idiocy seen above.

| they (Comcast, AT&T, Verizon) have built the groundwork for us not trusting them. THEY are threatening the internet with radical new changes just so they can get mo money.
if they stop fking around with us anti-net neutrality fiasco a la Verislime/Sitefinder b.s. that alters the entire internet, well, then maybe we will trust them again.
until then, I don't trust them. I have no reason to. |

| reply to Combat Chuck said by Combat Chuck :But why blame others when we can stick Comcast (who we hate) with trying to get google to pay for access? Part of the problem stems from Comcast's (and other ISP's ) customer service. You call with a problem with connectivity and they IMMEDIATELY ASSUME it is your PC. While this might be the case sometimes, this obviously wasn't the case. However, time and time again, they would rather deny the problem and blame the customer then actually say there is a problem even if it is not under their control. |

THEY are threatening the internet with radical new changes just so they can get mo money. When has Comcast said anything about blocking access? I don't remember them doing it, and a search here comes up with a Comcast PR-adverstatement suggesting that we don't need new laws and, oh golly, Comcast can't afford to block content like the Telco's want to.
