BEFSR41 Help!!

Ok, I had a web server running on my dsl connect, and i decieded to get a 4 port router, so i did and hooked it all up. And the net is working on all my computers, and running fast. But for some reason i can't pull up my server from only certian extranal places. I have all the ports forwarded. I have no clue, what could be causeing the problem.

My network is set up like this:

BEFSR41 Router + Westell DSL Modem
Uplink on Router goes to Port 1 on 8 port Switch (linksys), server pluged into port 2 on 8 port switch. All other ports on switch and router are full with other computers.

Thanks,
Daniel

P.S. I'v tried pluging the server directly into the router, and still nothing.

"Some places" is the clue. Are you running PPPoE and it's characteristic MTU of 1492? You could have trouble serving a 1500 MTU network.

This will show up as the bad places being 1500 MTU networks (like cable modems and company LANs) - good places as other PPPoE and dialups. One fix is to set your server box to 1492 MTU.

More info: BEFSR41 (1.39) and VNC on port 21

EDIT: You could have some selective Code Red port 80 filtering, too. However, this MTU thing is something I've been meaning to write up for quite some time. So I did:
MTU, PPPoE, Servers and LinkSys Routers
