I'm not even positive Cisco actually states that anywhere. There are plenty of reputable stores that sell Cisco-compatible memory...

RAM that blows up routers? Comeon now. Even my buddies in the "All Things Mac" forum have given up the argument that Apple RAM is "better" than any other RAM from reputable vendors.

But hey, if paying 4-12x more for memory with a Cisco sticker on it floats your boat, more power to you.
