It is because of Sunday Night again. Most normal folks are snuggled up to their fat, smelly, old ladies right now, asleep, and dreaming about all the work they have for tomorrow. I don't have a fat, smelly, old lady to worry about. Just a big jug of booze, so I'm still trying to figure out what to do tomorrow.
Hmmmm......With thoughts like that about women, I understand why You only have a bottle of booze for company, LOL!

»www.luxul.net/Individual_Products/12T.htm same antenna for a cost of about $3 and maybe start my own line of WISP hardware. This antenna »www.luxul.net/Individual_Product···olic.htm Sells for $400 and should cost about $12 to manufacture. Somebody is making a helluva profit, and I can too even if I sell for 1/3 the price they sell for.
I was reading their sales tag for this unit, and I must say, they seem quite confident about the ability to change physics?. From their website:
"The Luxul Wireless High Gain 14.5 dBi Circular Polarized Antenna is the perfect choice for point-to-point application. This patent pending antenna does not require line-of-sight. It has unsurpassed structural penetration capability and its narrower beam and higher gain can achieve an operating distance of up to 9 miles."
While I know that circular polarized antennas seem to better over water because of less multipathing?, I wonder if it is possible that it also achieves higher penetration through solids like buildings?.

Part of the problem going THROUGH buildings is that of multipath. Eliminate the multipath and the remaining signal albeit weak, should still be usable. I would not however claim NLOS and 9 miles in the same sentence.

Now if someone made a circular polarized omni for the base...
