Anyone know what is holding back Verizon from offering FIOS TV in Camarillo? I have had FIOS Internet for over a year. I heard back in July that the city had signed a franchise agreement with Verizon. Anyone have a timeframe??? |

| For what its worth, we received a Verizon advertisement yesterday saying that FIOS TV was coming soon. When I called the number, the person I spoke to said it would be available mid November. The 13th or 14th I think she said as the date.
The number is 800.348.1728, if you want to call and pre-order. |

| reply to davidmac27 I called last night after getting a letter in the mail. My install is scheduled "prior to November 17". Ha. I'm still a tad unclear on the connection to the set-top box, though. I asked the Verizon person when I called to order, and he said it connects via CAT-5. But googling FiOS TV you can find photos of installations, and it looks like they're connecting the set-top box with coax. I've had FiOS for about a year now, and my installation tech told me they'd have to replace my ONT when they finally rolled out FiOS TV. I wonder if they still will? Will I be stuck with the Actiontec router? So many questions. |

| I stand corrected - I took a second look and I have a 610X, and it does have a video out. I wonder why my original installer told me they'd have to replace the ONT when FiOS TV became available. For what it's worth, my neighbor got FiOS installed about a month after me, and he has a different ONT. |

| He has to be in that new housing area, Riverpark I think it is? They had fiber built into the homes when the houses were being built. I'm on west vineyard and no sign of Fios here cept for the usual 3-6 month crap you get from reps. I hear they got Fios in El Rio though. Yay Oxnard |
