It's dark everywhere.

I've researched the problem further more and realized that the nvidia driver is the source of the problem. I simply uninstalled the driver and installed an older version. If anyone encounters the same problem, make sure you just uninstall the driver and install an older driver (version 84.21 should do).

 Somewhere within K-Lite there might be some controls for brightness, contrast, gamma, etc.

I don't have K-Lite installed, so I'm not sure. It's just a guess.

However, I do have ffdshow installed, and it does have those controls.
