I used powernoc for a year and a half... the feature set is great compared to most other boxed offerings, but the learning curve on the software is steep. I used both methods of service, licensed & hosted. The licensed installation was definitely a pita, but much easier to manage. The hosted setup w/ the bmu was easier to set up, but their end of the software was flaky fairly consistantly.
The big drawback to this company is support. Their cheif engineer pretty much runs the show and seems to be the only competent one in the building.. anybody other than him seems to be only there to take messages. |
