If you're asking these questions, then it seems that you have not looked into IPv6 at all.

From what I know, it's a completely different world then IPv4 (the current IP version). For example, there are no broadcasts, which for network admin's is quiet a useful feature.

I really do suggest to read up on IPv6 before doing anything because it will create large amounts of headache since it's completely new, but to answer your question:

Your network card will be fine, however you may need to update the drivers, and make sure that your OS is up-to-date so that it can use IPv6 (it's been said that WinXP implementation of IPv6 is better then Linux's in most cases).

As for your ISP, they will not help you at all since they will not be using IPv6. You will only need IPv6 on your network and the ISP will not know a thing. However, to get on the internet, you will have to switch back to IPv4 since your ISP (and the rest of the internet) is using it.

Hope this helps, and again, if you're serious about IPv6, get a book on it. Trust me.
