Well, I sincerely apologize for leaving out some entries for logos. I believe that I've got things correct now.
I'll do this exactly how Kinguni did the team name vote. The winner must get 50% of the vote. If no one logo has 50% of the vote by midnight on Sunday then the top few (3-4) will go into a final round vote.
May the best logo win!!

I voted for #6 again because I like the orange and red and its simple and to the point. I would have voted for #20 because I like that one better, but it doesn't say seti@home. Hey wheres the car one, that one is a hoot.

My vote goes to 17 also. Very professionally done. I'd guess that one would pay good money for a top notch job like that. The animation really makes it. I could have done without the flames, but, still, it's exceptional.
Here's my assessment of the entries, please don't take offense, it's meant to be an amatuer critique:
1. Too square, needs to be a rectangle. Starfire font a bit complicated, flames take away from it.
2. Fairly good. Chop off a bit off the top and bottom to steamline it some.
3: Very good. Can't see much that needs to be addressed.
4: Reminds me of computer generated effects, a bit cluttered.
5: Pretty good overall, font looks a tad dated, italics not needed, IMO.
6: Very good, nice proportional layout.
7: Excellent. Nice, simple, greyscale is used impressively, all wording use the same font, the spacing & point settings just right.
8: Too tall. I really think the logo should be rectangular.
9: Stay with #7. the lines and flames clutter it.
10: Pretty good, a bit cluttered with font selection, especially the seti@home logo.
11-15: Colors don't work for me...
16: If Starfire was larger, and the yellow star taken out, we'd have a contender.
17: Excellent. The animation really lifts it over the competition. Gets my vote, although #7 with the same animation would have.
18: Pretty good, simple layout, but it works.
19: A bit dated.
20: Add seti@home to this logo and we'd have another winner. The star is simply stunning on the black background.
OK, now who did I tick off?

No one, I completely agree with you on #4 (even though I voted for it). But, I do like the generate effects, and I do think it is a bit cluttered.

I think we should make an animated gif and use them all 
And put a banana in the middle so people will get hungry for Seti. Actually I cheated and looked at the results before voting. Chimps tend to do things like that, too many with no votes, couldn't vote for them all to really confuse things, so I chose an animated one. (Chimps also like animations, easily amused aren't we???)
