Yeah I wish I could move the microwave, just no where in the house it can fit. I mean the microwave isn't right next to it, a good 6 feet away with a wall seperating them.

I would bet that they are both on the same 120v circuit and the problem is aggravated by that. Can you try powering the router from a wall circuit that you know is not on the same circuit as the microwave? |

They aren't on the same circuit and they're on adjacent walls, but not on the other side of the same wall. Not that it makes a huge difference, but the router is on a UPS too.
The microwave itself is probably 5-10 years old.
